What does the Franchisor actually do?

This week I've been flat out working with "potential master franchise's.
We have potential masters looking at business opportunities from Melbourne to South East Queensland to North Queensland to Adelaide!
Some look good ,some don't look as suitable for our business.
I personally invest time in with our potential master franchises.
At James Home Services the Master Franchisee plays a key role.
Great Master ,Great Team ,Great Service!
Poor Master,Poor Team, Poor Service!
The selection process is the key.
But most people are on their best behavior at this stage.
You don't always get it right,So it is worth the investment to give you the best result.
Then there's follow up coaching with current masters.
At maybe a coffee shop some where or on the phone or by Skype!
Then theres the Master Meeting next week!
Haven't even got to that to that!
Then there's the marketing.
The Advertorials plan to be back on air in March.The results have been awesome!
And a "new spokesperson will be announced  very soon..
All every exciting!
Then they want me to do this BLOGG thing.

What a Great Coaching Question! #The Negative Thing

The Negative Thing   One of the guys asked an interesting question about my early days. How did I handle the “ Negative Thing ”? When I asked what did he mean by that? He expanded. You know? When you’ve had a bad day and you don’t get the results, you can get disheartened. And then there are other people who seem to want you to fail.  Sometimes its other franchisees, or just people you know, or even family. They seem excited when they think you might fail. ”Told you so!”  Sort of thing! I asked him first - What did he do? He said “When I get negative, I then do nothing.  I just worry about it.” He said, “I know it doesn’t work”. This is the network about 1994, I think.Don't we look dapper? What did I do! And still do for that matter. Firstly, I always do something ! I really don’t just sit around and worry. Playing a   positive game always beats the negative players. If you keep going forward, working on the solutions, you will always win! Every time Guaranteed!
