The first Franchisee Coffee Shop Coaching session was at Forest Lake Coffee Club,Brisbane.
Great day, sunshine ,blue skies and a Cappacino !
I really start these sessions with no idea where we might end up!
Ask lots of questions!
Get to know where each person is coming from and where they want to get to!

With Matt, we covered asking for the referral, marketing to his current clients and marketing around his clients.
Couple ideas that came up.
1.Make Matt's "Catch Phase",
By the way do you know anyone else who has a dog that would love to be washed?
2. Use a hand written  note in neighbours letter boxes with brochure.ie
"I noticed that you have a beautiful German Shepard. I wash your neighbours dogs every 2nd Wednesday.I can give you a special offer for a regular service. Thanks Matt 0412 004001"

Sabine & Tervor Lawn & Garden Care
With Trevor and Sabine we talked about getting the best out of a knock & drop.
Also improving results from their market promotions.

I had a great day getting to know two of the team.
Always find it inspiring to work with people that want to learn,makes coaching a joy!
I hope they got something they could use in their businesses!

What a Great Coaching Question! #The Negative Thing

The Negative Thing   One of the guys asked an interesting question about my early days. How did I handle the “ Negative Thing ”? When I asked what did he mean by that? He expanded. You know? When you’ve had a bad day and you don’t get the results, you can get disheartened. And then there are other people who seem to want you to fail.  Sometimes its other franchisees, or just people you know, or even family. They seem excited when they think you might fail. ”Told you so!”  Sort of thing! I asked him first - What did he do? He said “When I get negative, I then do nothing.  I just worry about it.” He said, “I know it doesn’t work”. This is the network about 1994, I think.Don't we look dapper? What did I do! And still do for that matter. Firstly, I always do something ! I really don’t just sit around and worry. Playing a   positive game always beats the negative players. If you keep going forward, working on the solutions, you will always win! Every time Guaranteed!
